#115 Pictures from Our Vacuum (#27 Jack)

Jacks are usually found in clusters.  But occasionally you find a stray one.  They typically hang out in deep-pile rugs.  And really, there’s only one way to find one.  You have a 4 in 6 chance of finding it in a really painful way and a 2 in 6 chance of finding it in an incredibly painful way.

For this carpet, I tried to show some different directions in the weft.  I copied the whole thing and then flipped it horizontally.  Then I erased occasional bits of it to get that pattern.

My ex coworker Jessica used to photograph jacks, almost exclusively for her art installations.  If you ever read this Jessica, howdy.
