[GIMP #1] Potted Plant

Tonight I started by using GIMP (which is the free version of PhotoShop, basically).  The interface is very much like PhotoShop.  It’s not quite as robust, but that’s what you get for free.  Nevertheless, it’s super powerful and allows me to do the kind of freehand drawing that Inkscape just isn’t designed for.

I do hope to be able to use Inkscape more–it’s vector based which allows for amazing amounts f control.  But the whole point of the doodling is to do free hand work.  So, GIMP it is.

This plant is in my bosses’ office by the way.
